This program has been developed in accordance with Homeland security, Transport Canada, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the International Association of Bomb Technicians and Investigators (I.A.B.T.I.).
This presentation is intended to provide guidance and suggested response procedures to the possible threat of Individuals and the use of vehicles as weapons in conjunction with Improvised Explosive Devices. The focus of this program will build upon prerequisite profiling skills and will allow the trainee to determine probable cause for vehicular inspection. Should a vehicle inspection be required the trainee shall learn the basic techniques to determine if further actions are necessary. Upon completion of the basic inspection, the individual will have the required knowledge to determine the various levels of assistance available to them. The individual trainee will understand proper procedures for escalated response. |
